Gatwick is linked to Brighton on the south coast, London Bridge, St. Pancras International, Farringdon in the city's center, and Bedford to the north via Thameslink. Trains run directly between Thameslink and Luton Airport Parkway.

Gatwick Airport is serviced by Great Western Railway once an hour via Redhill, Reigate, and Guildford on the way to Reading.
